GeoCamp 2025 is already in the planning stages! The dates have been confirmed: 25–27 August 2025.

You can register for GeoCamp by filling in the online form.
Upon request, participants of GeoCamp will be issued a certificate of completion, which can be used as part of the admissions process for secondary schools.
Every GeoCamp is unique, but they are all amazing and fun!
Who wouldn’t want to measure the Earth and learn more about it?
At previous GeoCamps, we experienced activities such as:
- Measuring angles and distances
- Introduction to GIS systems
- Quad-tree indexing
- A mobile planetarium
- Painting a really big globe
- A visit to Techmania Science Center, Pilsen
Participation in the summer school and lunches are free of charge.
Organizational details:
- Participants will meet each day at 8:45 a.m. at the main entrance of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technická 8, Pilsen. Please collect the children at 4:00 p.m. at the same location. If any of the older children wish to leave on their own without parental supervision, a designated form for independent departure must be completed.
- On the first day, please bring printed and completed documents sent via email and a copy of the child’s health insurance card.
- The camp programme focuses mainly on outdoor activities, so please dress the children in sports clothing and outdoor shoes. Depending on the weather, include a sweatshirt and a raincoat. An alternative indoor programme is, of course, prepared in case of severe bad weather.
- Some activities will require travel by public transport. Please provide the children with a Pilsen Card loaded with a valid ticket. If this is not possible, we will provide individual tickets.
