The conference description
The Joint conference brings together three different conferences, but all focused to applications of geosciences: ISAF is a conference, focused on applications in Agriculture and Forestry which celebrates its 20th years in 2016. Its origins come from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. but step by step, the converence started to migrate from palce to place, as the conference audience went broader and international. This way, ISAF have evolved into a European level conference; last two venues were in Dresden, Germany (ISAF 2015) and Riga, Latvia (ISAF 2014).
Geomatics in Projects is a conference which covers actual problems and issues discussed within GI related disciplines – conference topics are carefully selected each year. Geomatics in Projects started in 2007 as a one day seminar with regional scope and have naturaly evolved into current shape: The conference became national at 2009. Currently the conference smoothly turns into an international level, as it hosted first foreign speaker in 2012, first full english section in 2014 (Geomatics in 3D) and next, two sections in 2015. This year – joining the ISAF conference – the first conference day will be in English, second in Czech language.
The Plan4All conference is a brand new B2B action, associating companies which are active in geo-related business. This part of the joint conference is coorganized by members ot the Plan4All Association.
The Open Data Hackathon is then a natural part of such a Joint conference focused on geo-sciences applications. The best hackaton projects will be presented and awarded during the conference.
